Find root causes through Design Thinking with PGN


Innovesia has a great experience in Design Thinking workshop series with PGN. The workshop aims to find the root causes for accurate innovation. It has three series and attended by selected participants.

Workshop series 1 is good and fantastic. We have it at Harris fX Sudirman, Jakarta on Monday to Tuesday, August 6 to 7, 2018. 28 participants come from different function or business unit. They are separated into 5 groups and each group generates their very own co-created prototype.

During the workshop series 1, each group should do field immersion. Groups go to some places according to their target customers and to interview targeted customer profile. They are hotels, restaurants, building management and their own internal team.

Continue with workshop series 2 on Monday to Tuesday, August 13 to 14, 2018 at Grand Mercure Harmoni, Jakarta, we have the other enthusiastic participants with us. In total, there are 34 participants from different business unit or subsidiaries.

Aside of field immersion, groups have to create their prototype to be presented in front of other participants and judges. Prototypes built by the groups should come from their customers’ problems/issues and capture their jobs-to-be-done which done in earlier sessions.

Last but not least, the workshop series 3! We have it on Monday to Tuesday, August 20 to 21, 2018 at Grand Mercure Harmoni, Jakarta. Workshop series 3 comes with the most participants and they are bouncing off the walls in following the workshop stages.

The most likely session by the participants is presenting their solutions at the final stage of the workshop through storytelling methodology in the format of role-playing.

The workshop series is also a preparation for PGN internal employees ahead of their annual Innovation Awards. So, the employees will be ready to come out with their more customer-centric ideas. The Innovation Awards itself is usually conducted in September.
