INNOVESIA’s Innovation by Design is a series of agile methodology workshops which enable people to open their mindset on innovation and to embed innovative culture in their daily lives.
Under the theme of Design Thinking for Social Innovation, the workshop had four selected participants who came from finance industry, entrepreneur and social industry. During the workshop, participants should complete INNOVESIA’s Design Thinking Methodology steps ahead of generating their innovative outcomes. The steps are:
- INSIGHT,
- IDEATION, and
- IMPLEMENTATION. (*You may find each step description by visiting this link)
The innovative outcomes that generated by the group are:
- Found from the insights, participants looked at the habits of Jakartans parents. Most of them used the service of nanny and helper to take care their babies/children and helping their housework. This made them to come with idea on enhancing nanny’s skills. And, here it is Nanny Club! A community for babysitter to do gathering, brainstorming, and improving their skills. The club also provide classes with experts.
- Got the insights about parents usually directed their children’s interest and had attention in building their children’s character, participants came with idea to provide that kind of services through something that close to children. It is called JUARA.IN, a mobile application for children to enhance their skills and shaping their character, the use of the apps will involve the children’s parents.
We are glad to meet with passionate people and we invite you to join us in the next session!
